ZACK WERNER TO JUDGE KARAOKE FINALISTS
As Tuesday November 16th, 2010 approaches many Karaoke enthusiasts are stepping up their game for Cousin Vinny’s Karaoke contest hosted by MC Marx.
Of course everyone entering the contest hopes to leave with the grand prize of $1000 and the CD
recording, however, the true prize lies in making it far enough to be judged by Zack Werner.
Zack Werner has had a career in the music industry as an artist, producer, entertainment lawyer and
manager. He is also president of Toronto-based Venus Management and Venus Records (distributed by
EMI), where he spends his time finding and developing new talent across Canada.
After receiving a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and a law degree from the University of British
Columbia, Werner moved to Toronto and joined local rock band Mystic Kick. The band, managed by Gary
Pring secured a development deal with Capitol Records.
Werner was also one of the judges on Canadian Idol. Cast as the Canadian equivalent of Simon Cowell.

Vitiello, co-owner of Cousin Vinny’s.
Werner will be judging the finale of the Karaoke contest on Thursday January 27th, along with displaying
his own talent with the rest of his band Mystic Kick on the January 28th, 2011.
