Girls Night Out in Support of Breast Cancer: These Girls Nailed It!!

Tons of women (and a handful of men) made the first annual ‘Girls Night Out’ a success on Thursday March 10th at Cousin Vinny’s.

MC Marc delivered a Bachelor Auction to be remembered! Bachelors who volunteered their time to be auctioned off were several of ‘The Boys of Cambrian’, Bruno Rocca, Trevor Blanchard and Cousin Vinny’s own Chris Vitiello and Tylor McNair. All money raised through the bachelor auction was donated to breast cancer along with a portion of ticket sales. Once purchased, the bachelors competed for prizes through the night for their ladies. Some mentionable competitions included; the bump and grind, push-up contest, and keeping up with the girls of Zumba Vibe.

Through a carefully planned four course dinner, the Exclusive Look also introduced a fabulous fashion show, which featured items from their spring clothing line. All of the models were volunteers, and owners Fran and Craig Shlemkevich were very forthcoming with giveaways through the show.

Zumba Vibe was also in attendance providing energy and fun in a way that only they can! Owner Christina Chicoine brought her team of very enthusiastic Zumba instructors and gave the audience an experience to remember. “Not only is Zumba fun, but it is a great work out. Time flies by when you’re at a Zumba Vibe class,” said Kathy Proulx a Zumba Vibe participant and attendee at Girls Night Out.

Some of the vendors of the night included; JB Jewelers who donated a 14K white gold diamond and amethyst necklace to be given away as the door prize, Skin-so-sweet, Mary Kay, Custom Candles by Natalie, Capreol Graphics, Epicure Selections, Fric and Frac Jewelery and Tarot Card readings from The Tree of Life North. Donations were given from other Valley East locations in support of the cause.

“It’s a great thing when people in a community come together to raise money for such a great cause” said Chris Vitiello (co-owner) who was auctioned off for the highest amount of the evening at $310.00.

Once the evening came to an end, it was calculated that a total of $1017.00 was raised in support of breast cancer!

“This is an event for a great cause that we will run every year, if you weren’t able to make it this year, look for it next year. We only expect it to be bigger and better!” said Tylor McNair co-owner of Cousin Vinny’s.
